After Krazy Super Concert held its inaugural show in New York this summer, Pulse Events’ newly launched K-pop concert series makes its next stop on the West Coast early next year.
Billboard can exclusively reveal the first details that Krazy Super Concert will make its Los Angeles debut at BMO Stadium during the 2024 Lunar New Year weekend with K-pop groups The Boyz and aespa leading off the lineup announcement.
With Krazy Super Concert promising the full artist lineup shared by January, the two acts currently on board should be warmly welcomed back stateside after taking time to connect with U.S. fans during 2023. In September, aespa wrapped the eight U.S. dates as part of their Synk : Hyper Line world tour, while The Boyz performed at KCON Los Angeles this past August in the Crypto.com Arena.
Both groups dropped multiple projects throughout 2023 as well. aespa scored two new Billboard 200 entries with their My World and Drama EPs landing at Nos. 9 and 33, respectively. The Boyz dropped three records this year: Be Aware, PHANTASY Pt.1 Christmas in August, and PHANTASY Pt.2 Sixth Sense, the former of which landed at No. 11 on Top Album Sales for TBZ’s first entry on the chart.
Previously, the Krazy K-Pop Super Concert (now known as Krazy Super Concert) earned $457,000 and sold 4,625 tickets for its Aug. 26 debut at the UBS Arena, according to Billboard Boxscore. That concert featured IVE, AB6IX, Kwon Eun Bi, Cravity, and Shownu and Hyungwon of Monsta X performing and meeting East Coast fans as Pulse’s first K-pop concert of its kind after building its name by hosting dozens of EDM shows through the years.
