Taylor Swift’s Tortured Poets Department is just hours away from arriving on Friday (April 19), and the pop superstar is building the anticipation by teasing the lead single, “Fortnight,” featuring Post Malone.

Swift took to X to share a preview of the upcoming music video, featuring dramatic scenes of the duo searching through files, embracing on an empty road and throwing chairs, before the clip cuts to Swift looking into the camera with a smokey eye and her iconic red lip.

“At this hearing, I stand before my fellow members of The Tortured Poets Department with a summary of my findings,” the singer captioned the post, noting that the video will be arriving on Friday (April 19) at 8 p.m. ET.

Earlier in the day, Swift took to Instagram to confirm that “Fortnight” would serve as the lead single for TTPD. “The first single from The Tortured Poets Department is…………. Fortnight featuring [Post Malone],” Swift wrote in the caption of a post that appears to be the single’s cover art. “I’ve been such a huge fan of Post because of the writer he is, his musical experimentation and those melodies he creates that just stick in your head forever. I got to witness that magic come to life firsthand when we worked together on Fortnight.”

“Fortnight” is one of two collaborations on The Tortured Poets Department. Grammy-nominated alt-rock act Florence + the Machine appears on the album’s eighth track, “Florida!!!” The new single also marks the first collaboration between Swift and Malone.
