Yesterday (May 31), NewJeans performed on popular South Korean music chart show Music Bank. After winning first place following their performance of ‘How Sweet’, the K-pop girl group expressed their gratitude for their fans’ support during their comeback.
Elsewhere during their acceptance speech, member Minji thanked ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin for her contributions to the group. Shortly after, Danielle extended another show of gratitude to Min. A translation of Danielle’s address reads: “Once again, we would like to thank our CEO, whom we love and adore a lot. We love you, CEO!”

NewJeans’ support for Min Hee-jin comes after she managed to retain her role as the CEO of ADOR following a shareholders meeting, although two of her “close aides” have been dismissed from the board of the company.
Earlier this week, a Seoul court ruled in favour of an injunction filed by Min that prevented HYBE from exercising its voting rights to prevent it from dismissing her as the head of the K-pop agency.
Min’s retention of her role is the latest development in a month-long feud between ADOR and HYBE over the ownership of the K-pop agency, which is home to NewJeans.
Most recently, Min Hee-jin held a press conference yesterday (May 31), in which she addressed the future of NewJeans, her alleged “betrayal” of HYBE and more. Notably, prior to the feud, the girl group had announced several new music releases, as well as a world tour for 2025.
