Billie Eilish has more Hit Me Hard and Soft tricks up her sleeve, and the superstar teased a music video for the album’s fan favorite track “Chihiro” on Wednesday (June 5).

In the clip, Eilish is seen running down a hallway. She revealed that the video will be arriving at 9 a.m. PT on June 6.

“Chihiro,” which is in reference to the main character in the beloved Studio Ghibli film, Spirited Away, features a thumping melody with Eilish singing in her characteristically soft tone: “Today, maybe tomorrow/ Open the door for me/ I know you said before/ You can’t cope with it no more.” Eilish has been a longtime fan of Hayao Miyazaki’s filmography, and has even jokingly admitted to having a crush on the dragon in Spirited Away.

Produced as usual by the pop star’s brother and longtime collaborator, Finneas, the 10-track set marks Eilish’s third studio LP, following 2019’s When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and 2021’s Happier Than Ever, both of which spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. No singles preceded the project, with the 22-year-old singer telling fans from the moment she announced it, “i wanna give it to you all at once.”

On the Billboard 200 chart dated June 1, Hit Me Hard and Soft debuted at No. 2.
