The 2024 Premios Juventud is just around the corner, and as tradition holds, the event will recognize artists and young people for their “extraordinary accomplishments in society, celebrating music, new artists, community and creators,” according to a press release.

This year’s nominations are led by top nominees Maluma, Carin Leon and Peso Pluma with seven nods each. They are followed by Karol G and Shakira with six nominations; Becky G and Grupo Frontera with five nominations; and up for four awards each are Bad Bunny, Bizarrap, Farruko, Feid, Fuerza Regida, Manuel Turizo and Ozuna.

In addition, the fan-voted event will give prominence to “creators,” figures who “lead on social media, by introducing new award categories to spotlight those who are making significant waves in la cultura.”

Anitta, Los Tigres del Norte, and Lele Pons are set to receive the coveted “Agent of Change” recognition, celebrating young entrepreneurs and prominent stars who selflessly contribute to creating a better world. The first two acts are also confirmed to take center stage during the awards show.
