House Of Protection is the new project from ex-members of FEVER 333: Aric Improta (drums) and Stephen Harrison (guitar). Bridging the not-so-disparate worlds of hardcore, electronica and punk, the duo have forged a sound that channels volatility and a community fuelled by chaos.
Their latest single, âPulling Teethâ, is a high-energy, adrenaline-pumping track that blends aggressive elements of hardcore with industrial and electronic influences. The music video, shot inside Indiaâs infamous Well Of Death, mirrors this chaotic intensity with the band performing as stunt drivers defy gravity around them.
On the making of the video, the band shares: âThe first day we met the full Red Bull Records team, we asked if they would be down to fly us to India to perform in a Well Of Death â an idea weâd been sitting on for years. To our surprise, they were immediately on board, so we knew we just needed the right songâ.Â
After completing âPulling Teethâ, they felt it was âthe perfect track to score the concept. I think we always perform best when the environment is a bit chaotic, so we were excited to see what would happenâ.Â
For fans of metal mosh pits and underground raves alike, House Of Protection have crafted a cohesive chaos in their versatility that is further demonstrated in their debut EP âGALOREâ, set for release on 13 Sep.
