Name  Dennis Quaid

Best known for  Babysitter for anyone under 4o. More parents put on Parent Trap for their children to keep the kids occupied. It’s amazing how many generations love that movie.

5 Albums I Can’t Live Without:

1

Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, The Beatles

I was 12 or 13 when the Beatles released Sgt. Pepper’s. They were larger than life. Global figures, more excitement and wonder around them than any band today. The music they were creating will be the soundtrack to our lives for decades to come.

2

Dreaming My Dreams, Waylon Jennings

This is one of those Jack Clement-produced records — a legendary Nashville trailblazer who befriended me years ago. I’m a lifelong Waylon fan and to this day I put on this record and it takes me back to the mid ‘70s when I was getting started in acting.

3

Nashville Skyline, Bob Dylan

This is the first album Dylan shares vocals duties on the opening track featuring Johnny Cash, which is really cool. It’s such a great record overall and I really appreciate how Dylan intertwined Nashville influences. Dylan also gave us a song for Reagan. We gave him the freedom to do any song he wanted to do, and he chose “Don’t Fence Me In.”

4

Love Will Keep Us Together, Captain & Tennille

They created really great records that tug at the heart and soul. They’re not a duo you hear about every day, but they cemented themselves as respected singer/songwriters, and who doesn’t jam to “Love Will Keep Us Together”?

5

The Best of The Doors, The Doors

The Doors are the greatest rock band of all time. What Jim Morrison, Robby Krieger, John Densmore, and Ray Manzarek did together is nothing short of genius. In my lucky life, I can actually say Robby Krieger and I became great friends. We’re even neighbors.
