LA-based artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Anna Margo has been taking the music world by storm. Think classical meets alt-R&B, with a dose of cinematic lure. Anna is now releasing her most important project to date, her EP titled If You’re Still There, and it’s a journey. From melancholic ballads to anthemic pop tracks, If You’re Still There has something for most listeners to identify with.
The EP kicks off with “You,” a deep track that showcases Anna’s vocal range. Next up is “Last Dance,” a more upbeat track with a touch of alt-pop. The song features Timbaland’s iconic Gregorian chant, giving it a divine and almost ethereal feel. “Ghost” is another standout track, with its catchy guitars and anthemic rhythm, while “For My Best Friend” brings more emotion – telling the story of a heartfelt ode to a loved one.

With diverse influences including Radiohead, Coldplay and Hans Zimmer, Margo’s goal is to evoke emotion from the listener, taking them to a higher place. Having a positive impact on her fans is core to her ethos as an artist.
“Aside from just making music that moves people, being able to bring people together and create a safe environment for them to forget their daily lives and stresses and just be free in the moment for a couple hours, is such an incredible gift. I see myself doing that, and that drives me to keep going because I can’t wait to get to that point. I think anything we decide to do in our lives has to be more than just about us. There has to be a bigger picture or something about your dream that can impact people and that’s the best way I think I’d be able to do that.”
