Bhad Bhabie has revealed that she’s been diagnosed with cancer, and reports have emerged that she has immediately started undergoing treatment.

The 21-year-old rapper, whose legal name is Danielle Bregoli, posted an Instagram Story last Thursday seemingly responding to criticism about her body image – stemming from comments on a recent Instagram post of hers where fans speculated about her seeming weight loss and made body-shaming remarks.

“I’m sorry my cancer medicine made me loose [sic] weight,” she wrote. “I’m slowly gaining it back. So stop running [with] the worst narratives.” TMZ later reported that a source close to Bregoli confirmed that she is currently under the care of a doctor.

No confirmation has been made on the type of cancer Bhabie currently faces.

Bhabie’s mother Barbara Bregoli also seemed to confirm the news via gossip journalist Perez Hilton – with her attacking him for comments he made suggesting the rapper faked her diagnosis for attention.

“How dare you, you vile little piece of shit, say that my daughter would lie about something so serious,” she told Hilton via a fiery video response published on Friday (November 8). Bregoli also mentioned that she battled cancer twice herself.

Earlier this year, Bhabie gave birth to her first child, whom she named Kali Love.

Alongside her career as a recording artist, Bhabie has also been active as a content creator on OnlyFans – in 2021, she revealed that she earned over $1million in her first six hours on the platform.

In 2020, Bhabie entered rehab to seek treatment for mental health and substance abuse issues. “We are very proud of Danielle for recognising that she needed help and seeking it out,” her management team said in a press statement.
