Twenty One Pilots, d4vd and Royal & the Serpent will reprise their contributions to the second season of the Netflix animated series Arcane at the 10th anniversary edition of the Game Awards, which will take place Dec. 12 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The event will air live on more than 30 digital video platforms, including Twitch, YouTube and TikTok.

All three artists crafted original songs for the second season of Arcane, which is based on Riot Games’ beloved League of Legends video game. Twenty One Pilots will perform “The Line,” d4vd will play “Remember Me” and Royal & the Serpent will offer up “Wasteland” during the ceremony. The songs, plus others by Linkin Park, Marcus King, Woodkid, Stromae and Imagine Dragons, can be found on the just-released Arcane soundtrack.

In addition, Twenty One Pilots have unveiled a video for “The Line,” their first new music since the release earlier this year of their seventh album, Clancy. The group have an extensive 2025 tour on tap, beginning Jan. 16 in Bogota, Columbia, and concluding May 13-14 in London.

“As a fan, when invited to be a part of Arcane, I was inspired to contribute in some way,” says group member Tyler Joseph. “So many aspects of this story connect with me on a creative level, and when the scene was shared, I immediately knew the lyrical concept and direction I wanted to take. [Drummer] Josh [Dun] and I are thrilled to present this song on stage for the first time during the 2024 Game Awards.”

Royal & the Serpent’s performance will be accompanied by the Game Awards Orchestra, conducted by Lorne Balfe. “Getting to be a part of one of the most remarkable and stunning shows I’ve ever seen has been such an honor,” says Royal. “Arcane struck my heart with its profound storyline, innovative art style and powerhouse soundtrack when it was first released in 2021. Since then I’ve been dreaming of collaborating on the project in any way possible. I am so grateful and excited to get to share this moment with not only the fans of the show but everyone else who’s dedicated so much of their time and passion into creating such a beautiful body of work.”
