Over the past few weeks, a few artists have announced and dropped coffee table books featuring photos from their tours, promotional runs, and production sessions for their concerts and albums. In addition to photos — some never-before-seen and some from behind the scenes — the books also contain notes and anecdotes from the artists, detailing the stories behind the photographs.
This holiday season, gift the music fan in your life something special to commemorate their favorite artist’s iconic eras. Below are some of our selections.

The Eras Tour Book — Taylor Swift
As Taylor Swift’s critically acclaimed Eras Tour comes to an end after nearly two years, Swifties can relive the experience. Swift’s Eras Tour book features more than 250 photos from the tour, a recap of fan traditions and stories of how certain songs and mash-ups came together. Elsewhere in the book, which is exclusively sold at Target stores, Swift reveals why she chose to tour all of her album eras as opposed to a simple tour for Midnights, how she curated the setlist era-by-era, and some of her favorite fan memories.
The Book of Hov — Jay-Z
Arriving after the opening of The Book of Hov exhibit at Brooklyn Library last year, the new coffee table book features 675 photos and illustrations of rapper Jay-Z over the course of his illustrious career. From classic, game-changing rap records to successful business ventures, The Book of Hov is a captivating visual journey of Jay’s life and accomplishments, rising from the ashes and setting the stage for greatness. When ordered through Assouline, a portion of the proceeds from the book’s sales will benefit the Brooklyn Library.
Cowboy Carter Art Book — Beyoncé
Though Beyoncé hasn’t gone on tour in support of Cowboy Carter yet — nor has she released a music video for any of the album’s songs — her spin on country has proven to be one of her most memorable album eras to date. In the Cowboy Carter Art Book, the Beyhive can flip through 136 pages of never-before-seen photos inspired by her Cowboy Carter album.
