Mariah Carey’s catalog is filled with hits that keep on giving — even 30 years after the fact. But no matter how old some of her songs are, seeing them continue to achieve such remarkable feats will always bring joy to the elusive chanteuse.
During a stop on her Christmas Time tour in Raleigh, NC on Monday, December 9, the hitmaker with 19 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1s to her credit received the news that her holiday hit “All I Want For Christmas Is You” had once again topped the Hot 100. In a video taken from the concert, and later shared by a fan, Carey’s children — 13-year-old twins, daughter Monroe and son Morrocan, who she shares with ex-husband Nick Cannon — hand her a large bouquet of flowers.

After the concert, Carey took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the video, thanking her fans for helping the song get to No. 1 once more.
“Last night on stage in Raleigh, North Carolina, I found out that ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ returned to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100,” Carey wrote. “I couldn’t have dreamed of a better time or place to celebrate the news than on stage with my amazing fans, my kids and my #Christmastime tour family. I love you and am so grateful to you all.”
“All I Want For Christmas Is You” was first released in 1994 as part of Carey’s holiday album, Merry Christmas. However, the song didn’t reach No. 1 until 2019. Since then, the song has gone No. 1 every year around the holiday season.
And with a hit as evergreen as a Christmas tree, we can bet Carey is feeling festive.
