The legendary Blue Note Jazz Club, which already has nine different locations around the world including its flagship downtown New York venue, will expand to Los Angeles in March. The new club will boast a 200-capacity main shroom and a 100-capacity secondary room, as well as a full kitchen. It will be located on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.
As part of the move, Blue Note and the LA Phil have partnered to reconfigure the former Hollywood Bowl Jazz Festival into Blue Note Jazz Festival. The 2025 edition will begin June 14, with the lineup set to be announced on Feb. 18.

Blue Note Los Angeles will also be the beneficiary of the New York club’s ROBTOBER residency series with pianist Robert Glasper, who will “host and curate once-in-a-lifetime performances.”
Says the artist, who has also curated festivals with Blue Note, “I’m honored to partner up with Blue Note once again for what will be a significant cultural intersection for the Los Angeles community. Los Angeles has always been a second home to me, and I can’t wait to bring L.A. culture to the Blue Note.”
