The news comes after Burna Boy revealed earlier this week that his eighth studio album, ‘No Sign Of Weakness’, would be arriving at some point in 2025. He also shared a single from the forthcoming project, titled ‘Bundle By Bundle’.

His previous full-length record, ‘I Told Them…’, came out last year. In a four-star review, NME called the project Burna Boy’s “strongest album yet”. It added: “Whichever mood he’s in, Burna Boy creates pure magic here. A genius, indeed.”

‘I Told Them…’ received a nomination for Best Global Music Album at the 2024 Grammys. The single ‘City Boys’ was also up for Best African Music Performance in the category’s inaugural year. ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World’ (featuring 21 Savage) was in the running for Best Melodic Rap Performance too.

Meanwhile, Burna Boy’s 2024 single ‘Higher’ is nominated for Best African Music Performance at the Grammys 2025. In 2021, he won the Best Global Music Album award at the Grammys for his 2020 album ‘Twice As Tall’.

This summer saw the artist feature on Coldplay’s single ‘We Pray’ alongside Little Simz and more. Chris Martin and co. debuted the track during their headline set at Glastonbury 2024.

Burna Boy also performed on the Pyramid Stage ahead of SZA‘s bill-topping slot at Worthy Farm in June.
