Lucy Dacus has signed with Geffen Records for the March 28 release of her fourth album, Forever Is a Feeling, her first since the breakout success of her boygenius project in tandem with Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker. Those artists lend a hand on the project, as do Hozier, Blake Mills, Bartees Strange, Madison Cunningham, Collin Pastore, Jake Finch and Melina Duterte.
Two new tracks are out today: “Limerence” and “Ankles,” the latter which is accompanied by a video filmed in Paris and featuring actress Havana Rose Liu.

Forever Is a Feeling is the follow-up to 2021’s Home Video, her third and final album for Matador Records. “I got kicked in the head with emotions,” Dacus says of the inspiration for the new material. “Falling in love, falling out of love. You have to destroy things in order to create things. And I did destroy a really beautiful life.”
Ahead of the album, Dacus will play four unconventional solo shows next month at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church in Brooklyn, N.Y. (Feb. 18), the Driehaus Museum in Chicago (Feb. 20), the Legion of Honor in San Francisco (Feb. 22) and a secret location in Los Angeles (Feb. 24).
A full tour will follow, beginning April 16 in Philadelphia, with support from Muna’s Katie Gavin and jasmine.4.t.
