Beyoncé and Taylor Swift

It has been confirmed that both Taylor Swift and Beyoncé will attend the 2025 Grammys.

The ceremony for the 68th Grammy Awards is set to take place on February 2 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Already it has been confirmed that Trevor Noah will be returning to host the ceremony for the fifth consecutive time, and will also serve as a producer for the ceremony.

Now, a new promo shared by the organisers has confirmed that the live ceremony will be attended by two of the biggest names in pop: Taylor Swift and Beyoncé.

Benson Boone, Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter are also confirmed as being there on the night, as is “a very special guest”.

It will be broadcast live on CBS, and available to livestream via Paramount+ from 8pm ET and 5pm PT.

For Beyoncé, the appearance at the event will come as she recently received 11 nominations for her eighth studio album ‘Cowboy Carter’. This included Album of the Year and Best Country Album nods, while the single ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ earned nominations for Record of the Year, and Song of the Year.

With this year’s nods, the pop icon officially became the most nominated artist in the history of the award show. She was previously tied with her husband Jay-Z for a total of 88 nominations but has now brought that total up to 99.

Back in 2023, she broke the record for most Grammy wins of all time, with 32 trophies to her name too.

Meanwhile, Swift is up for Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year too with her track with Post Malone ‘Fortnight’. Her ‘Tortured Poets Department’ album is also up for Album Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.

On Friday (January 24) Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter and more were announced as performers, as were Billie Eilish, Doechii, RAYE, Shakira, Teddy Swims and Benson Boone.

Eilish, Roan, XCX and Carpenter join Bey and Swift as nominees for Album Of The Year, while Doechii has four nominations for Best Rap Performance, Best New Artist, Best Rap Album and Best Remixed Recording.

RAYE has two nods in the Best New Artist and Songwriter of the Year categories, while Shakira, Teddy Swims and Boone each have one nomination. For the former, the nod comes in the Best Latin Album category, while the latter two have it for Best New Artist.

Recently, Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. confirmed that the ceremony will proceed as planned despite the catastrophic fires that have struck Los Angeles this month – forcing over 180,000 residents to evacuate their homes.

Mason Jr. also confirmed that Grammys will double as a fund-raising event. This comes as the Recording Academy and MusiCares launched the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort, and will be donating $1million to “provide both immediate relief and long-term support to individuals and families in the music industry facing displacement and loss due to the disaster.”
