Lady Gaga debuted a new song at the FireAid benefit concert for the Los Angeles wlldfires this week in the form of ‘All I Need Is Time’ – watch below.

The song was written by Gaga and her fiancé Michael Polansky and is directly inspired by the devastating fires themselves, with Gaga giving it its first public performance during her headline set at the Intuit Dome on Thursday (January 30).

“I think we all need a lot of things right now, but I think something we may also need is time,” Gaga told the crowd before playing the jaunty piano-led song. See the footage here:

Gaga also played two tracks from A Star Is Born at FireAid – ‘Shallow’ and ‘Always Remember Us This Way’.

It is unclear whether ‘All I Need Is Time’ will be included on her upcoming eighth album ‘Mayhem’, which is coming out on March 7. So far, she has released the record’s first two singles, ‘Disease’ and ‘Die With A Smile’, with a third single expected to debut in a commercial break during the Grammys this weekend.

Gaga has described ‘Mayhem’ as “utter chaos” in terms of genre, saying its influences range from “’90s alternative, electro-grunge, Prince and Bowie melodies, guitar and attitude, funky bass lines, French electronic dance, and analog synths.”

Gaga is also set to perform a tribute to Los Angeles alongside Bruno Mars at the Grammys, which take place on Sunday (February 2). They join Billie EilishCharli XCX, Chappell RoanSabrina CarpenterRAYE, and Coldplay’s Chris Martin as performers.

The ‘Poker Face’ singer will also be part of the line-up for Saturday Night Live‘s SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert, which is taking place on February 14. Gaga will also headline Coachella 2025 in April, alongside Post Malone and Green Day.

Other highlights from FireAid included Joni Mitchell giving a rare public performance, Billie Eilish and Green Day teaming up for a live rendition of ‘Last Night On Earth’, and No Doubt reuniting to play some of their hits.

A big talking point from the show was when the surviving members of Nirvana made a surprise appearance, joined by St. VincentKim GordonJoan Jett and Dave Grohl’s daughter Violet on vocals.
