Shakira kicked off her huge ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’, world tour in Rio last night – see the setlist and major details of the show below.
The tour is her first for seven years and is in support of her 2024 album of the same name, for which she won Best Latin Pop Album at the Grammys earlier this month.
Shakira opened the show with ‘La Fuerte’, produced by frequent collaborator Bizarrap. She also played umerous cuts from her new album, including ‘Session 53’, ‘TQG’, ‘Monotonia’ and ‘Te Felicito’.
It featured particularly elaborate production, including 160’ screens and a first of its kind CGI animated version of Shakira during the interludes.

Shakira sold out 18 stadium dates in less than 2 hours within Latin America. She is making stops across Colombia, Chile, Argentina, and Mexico and is also set to return to her hometown of Barranquilla, Colombia later this month.
Later in the spring, she will embark on a North American leg of the tour. In October, she had to postpone the original run of dates so she could upgrade them from arenas to stadiums due to demand.
In a four-star review of ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’, NME wrote: “With a career that spans four decades, she continues to push the envelope for Latin pop music and make the genre a global event. All her previous records had at least one song in English, but this time, she opts to sing fully in Spanish. With this vulnerable yet versatile collection, Shakira shows there are no limits to the art of her catharsis through song.”
More recently, Shakira dedicated her fourth Grammy win to her “immigrant brothers and sisters”.
“You’re loved, you’re worth it, and I will always fight with you,” she stated. “To all of those women who work really hard everyday to provide for their families, you are the true she-wolfs.”
Since taking office, the Trump administration has acted swiftly on immigration in the country, with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reporting a record 956 people arrested on January 26 alone.
