Dolly Parton, Lainey Wilson, Orville Peck, Dasha and Jackson Dean are among the special guests on Australian children’s group the Wiggles’ upcoming country album, Wiggle Up, Giddy Up!, which will be released March 7. The Parton-penned “Friends” and a rework of her classic “9 to 5,” here dubbed “Counting 1 to 5,” are both available now.
“Well, I just wiggled my way out into the Wiggles’ world!,” Parton exclaims. “I had so much fun being a part of this project, and I hope you enjoy it as much as we have.” Adds Caterina Mete, who is also known as Red Wiggle and named one of her twin daughters after Parton, “Getting to work with my absolute musical hero is beyond surreal. Dolly has inspired me in so many ways, and I know these songs will bring so much happiness to families everywhere.”
