Confidence Man have shared their new single ‘I Heart You’, a collaboration with Eliza Rose – check it out below.
The track is one of three extra songs included on the new deluxe edition of the group’s 2024 album ‘3AM (LA LA LA)’. Titled ‘4AM LA LA LA’, it also features the 2024 single ‘All My People’ as well as the new track ‘Home Again’.
‘I Heart You’ is a blitz of dance pop energy, incorporating traces of UK garage, hyperpop and Eurodance. Listen to it as well as ‘Home Again’ here:
Speaking about the track, Confidence Man have said: “From the depths of depravity to the heights of pop perfection, Conman can do it all and this time we’re bringing Eliza Rose along for the ride. Some say it’s the dumbest thing we’ve done yet and we agree.”
DJ/producer Rose added: “So in love with fantastic Confidence Man, to be on a track with the fabbest, hottest, freakiest party babes is a fellow party girl’s honour. The studio sesh when we wrote it was a night to remember. I HEART CONMAN.”
NME awarded ‘3AM (LA LA LA )’ four stars upon its release in October, writing: “Already the most fun live band around, you always feel that Confidence Man are on the precipice of becoming the kind of proper crossover pop stars that Bowen Yang might impersonate on Saturday Night Live. ‘3AM (LA LA LA)’, their most assured collection yet, proves they definitely have the tunes to match their outsized personas.”
It went on to be named as NME’s 20th best album of 2024.
The group spoke to NME ahead of its release, with vocalist Janet Planet joking, “We’re gonna be fucked for the fourth album. We’ve used everything we have in this one.”
The Australian group are nominated for International Group Of The Year at the Brit Awards, which go down on Saturday (March 1), where they face competition from Amyl And The Sniffers, Fontaines D.C., Future/Metro Boomin and Linkin Park.
They will also be navigating the 2025 festival circuit, with appearances announced for Parklife, TRNSMT and All Points East.
