The 77th Emmy Awards will broadcast live coast-to-coast from the Peacock Theater at L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 14 (8-11 p.m. ET/5-8 p.m. PT) on CBS. The show will also be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.

The Creative Arts Emmy Awards, where the bulk of Emmys are awarded, will be presented on Saturday, Sept. 6, and Sunday, Sept. 7.

Since 1995, the Emmys have rotated among FOX and the three legacy networks — ABC, CBS and NBC. Cedric the Entertainer, star of CBS’ The Neighborhood, hosted the Emmys the last time it was on CBS, in 2021. Other hosts in the years the show has aired on CBS have been Stephen Colbert (2017), Neil Patrick Harris (2009, 2013), Ellen DeGeneres (2001, 2005) and Bryant Gumbel (1997).

Jesse Collins Entertainment has produced the last two Primetime Emmy Awards telecasts, with Alex Rudzinski on board as director for both shows. Last year’s show, on ABC, was co-hosted by the father-and-son team of Eugene Levy and Dan Levy.

Nominations for the 77th Emmy Awards will be announced by the Television Academy on Tuesday, July 15, streaming live at 8:30 a.m. PT on the Emmys website. The host and producers for this year’s telecast will be announced at a later date.

Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers will have access to stream live via the live feed of their local CBS affiliate on the service, as well as on demand. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will not have the option to stream live, but will have access to on-demand the day after the special airs.
