Liam Gallagher has jokingly put rumours about who will be featured in the Oasis reunion shows to bed, sharing a new line-up with fans.
Fans have been speculating about who could be joining Liam and Noel Gallagher on the upcoming Oasis reunion tour since news of their comeback was shared last summer.
At time of writing, it is only confirmed that the two brothers will be appearing at the shows, and fans have been debating whether they will be performing with previous bandmates, members of High Flying Birds, or some new faces.
Now, however, the frontman has addressed the rumours head-on and “cleared everything up” by sharing a list of members online.
“Here we have it Peppa Pig on drums, Bert n Ernie on lead guitar n bass, finger bobs on keyboard, obv me n Rkid,” he wrote on X/Twitter earlier this morning (March 5). “Hope that clears everything up can’t wait to see you all who says RnR is dead LG x”.

He also carried on the joke in the comments section, replying to fans who debated why other characters hadn’t been recruited for the massive outdoor shows.
This included naming The Muppets’ Miss Piggy as tour manager, and saying that Spongebob didn’t make the final cut because “he’s back on the drugs” and “unreliable”. Check it out below.

This isn’t the first time the Britpop icon has taken to social media to address potential contenders for the comeback shows. Last September, shortly after news of the reunion broke, Liam suggested that “there could be a few new faces” performing with him and Noel.
When fan reached out on social media to ask about the other musicians joining on tour, Liam replied: “Good question, there could be a few new faces just to freshen things up”.
Initially, reports claimed “no other original Oasis member were expected to join the reunion”, and that the members of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds would be stepping in for the rest of the band.
However, many began speculating that Oasis co-founder and original guitarist Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs, would be coming along for the tour dates. This was then amplified by an anonymous source reportedly telling The Sun that Bonehead was “ecstatic” about being asked to join.
Around the same time, drummer Alan White got fans talking after he posted an image of his drum kit with a swirling Union Jack design. The design was seen on the bass drum skin, and was the same artwork that appeared on Oasis’ first demo tape. The percussionist was the longest-serving drummer in the Britpop band, and was part of the line-up between 1995 and 2004.
Other reports claimed that White is joining the tour, however, NME believes that rumours surrounding Alan White are untrue.

Another member whose name has been thrown into the mix is the band’s original drummer Tony McCarroll. The percussionist was a founding member of Oasis, but would later go on to take legal action against the members in 1998 following his dismissal. When asked previously if he’d be taking part last year, he told the Daily Mail: “They haven’t reached out yet and to be honest I’m not holding my breath.”
Finally, there have been rumours that guitarist Gem Archer was reportedly set to join the line-up. Gem joined Oasis in 1999 after replacing Arthurs and played with the band until they split in 2009. He also performed with Beady Eye before he joined Noel Gallagher in 2017.
At time of writing, no other members have been confirmed other than Liam and Noel Gallagher, and more details are set to be shared ahead of the upcoming shows. Visit here for a full list of contenders.
More recently, Liam has been teasing a new album from the band. In September, when one fan asked “Is it true that Oasis will have a new album???”, Liam replied: “Yep, it’s already finished.” He also responded to a fan asking if a new record was “in the air”, to which he said, “It’s in the bag mate fuck the air”.
However, he soon backtracked on his earlier claims, telling fans in November there was “no Oasis album in the making” and that he “was fucking joking”.
