Taylor Swift has millions of fans, but only one “King Swiftie” — and according to Flavor Flav, she’s got the power to shake the earth.
While chatting with People in an interview published Wednesday, March 12, the 65-year-old rap legend opened up about his love for Swift, 35, revealing just how deep his Swiftie loyalty runs.

“I always go hard for Taylor Swift,” the Public Enemy artist, whose real name is William Drayton, said. “The Swifties, they know how hard I go in for Taylor Swift. The Swifties gave me a brand new name called King Swiftie. So I’m King Swiftie. I’m king of all the Swifties, and Taylor, she knows that too.”
And he’s not wrong — Swifties have fully embraced the “Fight the Power” hitmaker as one of their own.
“FLAVOR FLAV!!!! WE LOVE YOU SWIFTIE KING <3,” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
“I’ll never not be gagged by the fact that Mister Flavor Flav became a King Swiftie and our uncle ,” another said.
“I think one of my top favorite things that’s come out of the Eras Tour is Flavor Flav becoming King Swiftie. ” chimed in a third.
The TV icon, who sang Swift’s 2014 hit “Bad Blood” during his Masked Singer debut, went on to praise the Eras Tour superstar as “one of the most important artists of our time.” He added, “I don’t know no other musical artists that can throw a concert, and it hits the Richter scale. She causes earthquakes.”
But Swift isn’t the only powerhouse Flav supports.
Last summer, the ‘Flavor of Love’ alum made headlines when he signed a five-year deal as the official hype man for the U.S. women’s and men’s water polo teams. His sponsorship included a financial contribution to the women’s team for the Paris Olympics, where he attended their first match on July 27.
“For me doing this, I ain’t gonna lie, to me this is one of the biggest things that I feel that I could have ever done in life,” Flav told NBC Olympics. “By sponsoring a water polo team and helping these girls out, this is bigger than me winning a Grammy.”
