Michelle Phillips may be the last surviving member of the ‘60s music group called The Mamas & the Papas, but she seems to be alive and well these days.
The 80-year-old singer was recently photographed in Los Angeles on Monday, March 10, while she was out on a walk. Phillips can be clearly identified in the photos — which were obtained by People — and was wearing a striped black and white shirt with black pants, black shoes, and black sunglasses. She was also holding a black bag and something that looked like a jacket around her arm.

The musician was a co-founder and member of the ‘60s folk rock vocal group and was joined by her late husband John Phillips, Denny Doherty, and Cass Elliot — who is also known as Mama Cass. The Mamas & the Papas wrote and recorded five studio albums as a group throughout the length of their career and won one of their four Grammy Award nominations in 1967 for their song “Monday, Monday” in the Best Contemporary (R&R) Group Performance, Vocal or Instrumental category.
The photos of Phillips are the latest update of the singer’s appearance since she was last photographed during the red carpet event for the 66th Grammy Awards Pre-Grammy Gala in February 2024.
