Jade Thirlwall performs during The BRIT Awards 2025

JADE has dropped hints about what fans can expect from her set at Glastonbury 2025, saying that she has to “pull something out the bag”.

The singer and former Little Mix star is set to make her first appearance at the Worthy Farm site later this summer – playing a solo slot that will see her perform recent hit singles like ‘Angel Of My Dreams’ and ‘FUFN (Fuck You For Now)’.

Now, in a new interview as part of the KISS Radio Breakfast Show, the singer has joked about what fans can expect from the debut and addressed what she sees is a stigma around pop artists taking to the stage there.

“With Glastonbury there is always a little bit of a thing with pop acts. But [I’m] very grateful to be given a slot at Glastonbury. It’s iconic isn’t it,” she began, before the hosts asked her if she would incorporate any trap doors into her performance.

“If I can fit one in, maybe! I feel like it has become a bit of a thing now, but I’ve gotta pull something out of the bag at Glasto. I was thinking of walking on in a gigantic parka… the biggest parka you’ve ever seen in your life. Maybe that gets ripped off and I’ve got my tits out. That’s a work in progress,” she joked.

The new singles and the confirmation of a slot at Glastonbury 2025 come as the singer is set to release her debut solo album later this year. At time of writing, few details are known about the LP, including both the title and the release date.

As well as the new music and festival slots, 2025 is already a huge year for JADE as the start of this month saw her pick up the award for Best Pop Act at the BRIT Awards – her first award as a solo act.

Taking to the stage, she thanked her “Little Mix sisters” during her speech and, after her win, told NME that “the night couldn’t have gone any better” and hinted that more music is coming “very soon”.

The bill for this year’s edition of the Worthy Farm festival was shared at the start of the month, with headliners being confirmed as Neil Young, The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo. Countless other names were also announced for the 2025 instalment, including confirmation that Charli XCX would be headlining the Other Stage on the Saturday.

It will take place on the final weekend of June, running from Wednesday June 25 to Sunday June 29 at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset. The first line-up poster arrived on March 6.

Other acts on the bill include Biffy Clyro, Wolf Alice, Noah Kahan, The Maccabees, Alanis Morissette, Lucy Dacus, Father John Misty, St. VincentDeftones, Scissor Sisters, The Libertines and Wet Leg.
