Kanye West has now threatened to end Playboi Carti‘s career as he continues his recent tirade on X/Twitter.
The controversial rapper has recently started another slew of misogynistic, anti-Semitic and other defamatory tweets, seemingly triggered by Carti’s new album ‘Music’ and Kendrick Lamar’s involvement in the record. Later, Ye revealed he was upset that Carti removed ‘Different Day’ – a promotional single released back in 2024 which he produced – from ‘Music’ and made it a bonus track on the online paid version of the album.
West went on to share more irate tweets aimed at Carti, claiming he gave the Atlanta star his “biggest song and co-sign” (via E! News) – referring to the 2024 single ‘Carnival’ from ‘Vultures 1’, which became Carti’s first Number One on the Billboard Hot 100. He even said he and Carti “beat women” – citing the latter’s 2023 arrest for domestic violence, causing Carti to finally hit back with a succinct tweet: “Ye STFU”.
Beneath one of Ye’s tweets, a fan wrote: “Kanye can end Carti career fr [sic] but he won’t do that” – to which West agreed, replying: “I will and I am going to.”

Ye continued to berate Carti in a separate tweet: “Carti, you a child. You fake dark. I been in this shit 30 years and I seen and know what it really is. I am the don. I am the leader.
“This Carti shit is the final heartbreak. I can deal with Carti. If North was your niece, you wouldn’t let her get trafficked. All this shit is about clout for all y’all. These my real kids.”
At the end of the tweet, Ye asked Carti if he saw his other daughter Chicago as his “niece” before labelling him “the number one deadbeat on the planet next to Future”.

These tweets came after West took to Instagram to address Carti asking his ex-wife Kim Kardashian if he and their 11-year-old daughter North (who Carti referred to as “Niece North”) could collaborate on a song.
“This n***a is stupid, bro. You don’t know, when I’m dealing with my kids, this ain’t your niece, n***a. This is my daughter, n***a,” Ye said before adding anti-Semitic remarks. “Don’t fuck with me, boy! Don’t fucking play with me, n***a! You letting these white people use us against each other, you letting these Jews use us against each other, n***a. I put you on, n***a!”
Before the video, Ye previously mocked Carti’s request to work with North by asking Iggy Azalea – the mother of Carti’s four-year-old son Onyx – if he could get him on a song, too. Azalea later replied and asked West to give her and her son “some peace”.

Playboi Carti is not the only music star mentioned during Kanye’s recent rants. Others include Tyler, The Creator, Cardi B, Doechii and more as well as his longest industry allies, Jay-Z and Beyoncé. Ye recently shared an extensive list of those who betrayed him, including brands such as Adidas and Balenciaga – both of which cut ties with him back in 2022 when he first started to make anti-semitic remarks.
In a since-deleted tweet, Ye called Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s seven-year-old twins Rumi and Sir “r*****ed”. Tina Knowles seemed to clap back at Kanye on Instagram on behalf of her family. She shared a “corny joke”, asking: “What happens when a snowman throws a tantrum? He has a meltdown.”
It has since been reported that Jay-Z and Beyoncé are “discussing” legal action against Ye for the “vulgar and offensive” comments about their children.
In other news, Ye released his newest album ‘Bully’ earlier this week in the form of a short film.
