Ah, kids. One minute they’re drawing hearts. The next, they’re doing it on an especially expensive handbag. Just ask Cardi B.
“Literally spent $60,000 on this purse,” the 32-year-old rapper said in a since-expired Instagram Story on Sunday, March 23. “Look what my daughter did to my purse.”

In the clip, Cardi — whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar — zoomed in to reveal the damage: a tiny heart scribbled in black marker beneath the handle of a yellow crocodile-skin Hermès Kelly. The artwork was courtesy of 6-year-old Kulture, whom Cardi shares with estranged husband, Offset. The pair are also parents to 3-year-old son Wave and a baby girl, who was born on September 7, 2024 — though her name has yet to be revealed.
After the video made its way to YouTube, it didn’t take long for the internet to weigh in.
“Love it! [Hermes] purse 60,000. Memory of your daughter drawing on the purse. Priceless!!” one person wrote.
“Now it’s personalized and no one else has it… 
,” another pointed out.
“Honestly, it looks better. That baby has a future,” chimed in a third.
“A parents biggest fear is to find a sharpie cap,” someone else quipped.
“At least she didn’t go ham and scribble all over it! My daughter scribbled all over my jeep with a rock!” added another.
The Grammy-winning artist is no stranger to high-end bags. In October 2024, Cardi took to her Instagram Story to show off a closet full of Birkins and Kellys, including a rare baby-pink Birkin she gifted Kulture at age 2.

Despite the lavish gift, the “WAP” singer has also said she works hard to keep her kids grounded.
“Even though my kids are well-off, I want them to know that when you work for things and achieve it, it’s more respected — especially when people see that you bust your a** for it,” Cardi told Vogue Singapore in July 2022.
Meanwhile, Offset — whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus — responded to Cardi’s July 31, 2024 divorce filing by requesting joint legal custody of their three kids, according to recent legal documents obtained by TMZ. The 33-year-old rapper also asked that Cardi’s home be considered their primary residence and requested that both parties cover their own legal fees.
