Swedish psych-rocker and producer MIYNT oscillates between spacey, scuzzy psych-pop and indie propulsion.

Her new single ‘I Am I Am What’ fizzes into life, crackling with punk sensibility and psychedelic textures, creating a flashing tunnel where MIYNT’s vocals echo and command. There’s a hypnotic quality to it, evoking the feeling of going through the motions while your mind drifts elsewhere.

The stop-motion video, set in an old-style 1930s dollhouse, amplifies this sense of disorientation; the repetitive, mechanical movements of the dollhouse figures mirroring the track’s themes of routine versus self-awareness.

MIYNT explains, “This song sounds like how it feels when I try to focus on paperwork. We’re kind of in this pick-me era and I wanted to play a bit with that concept. I fell in love with the guitar riff, and then the song just happened”.
