Minaj teased her verse on the melodic Afrobeats rework via Instagram Wednesday evening (Feb. 7).

“Top shotta never Burna Boy,” she raps. “I been a learner boy/ When you spinnin’ they gon’ hop out with the burner boy/ Don’t get a bad b—h, you earn her, boy.”

Minaj instructed the speakers to be “louder” before running back her vocals for a second time for fans.

The Barbz were excited at the collaboration fusing cultures. “That process with the melody first go crazy fr,” one person wrote in Nicki’s comments, while another added, “I’m ready for this collaboration Trinidad & Nigeria coming together is going to be iconic!”

“Tested, Approved & Trusted” originally landed as a sleeper on Burna Boy’s I Told Them… album in August.

If the remix does indeed eventually hit streaming services, it will serve as the first official collaboration between Nicki Minaj and the African Giant.

Minaj isn’t letting her big foot off the gas pedal following Pink Friday 2‘s arrival in December. She appears set on rolling into her world tour and letting the creativity flow, as she is slated to hit the road for the Pink Friday 2 World Tour starting in Oakland, Calif., on March 1.

The 41-year-old didn’t waste any time in firing back at Megan Thee Stallion with her “Big Foot” diss track Jan. 28, which debuted at No. 23 on the Billboard Hot 100 and opened at No. 10 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, even with just four days of chart tracking.

“Big Foot” captured 10.6 million official U.S. streams in the shortened week and 37,000 sales downloads, with 588,000 in radio airplay audience while not being promoted as a radio single.
