AEG’s Global Partnerships works across all AEG businesses and are responsible for securing and delivering first class sponsorship and partnership activations with the world’s most renowned brands.
They have an in-house Strategy & Insights Team supporting Partnerships Sales, Activation and Premium teams in France, Germany, Sweden, the UK across venues and live events. In the past 18 months the team has also assumed responsibility for AEG’s growing business in Asia and Oceana, supporting GP teams in key growth markets including Japan, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea and Australia.
They are now looking for a Strategy & Insights Analyst who will support teams across 4 main pillars:
Assisting new business and renewals through best-in-class Venue / Asset ValuationRevenue Management – tracking GP performance vs budgets and driving efficienciesWowing our customers with market leading Sponsorship Effectiveness Research & developing impactful case study materialsIdentifying emerging / active categories & brands to target & understanding the marketplace
You will:
Carry out sponsorship research for AEG venues and music festivals, supporting team on reporting to key clients (and leading on others) in the design, scripting, analysis & presentation of results.Leadon the development & maintenance of AEGs bank of case studies – working with teams in local markets to identify opportunities for data capture and developing outputsConducting desk research & working with third party agencies to gather market intelligence / trends / identify emerging categories & brand to feed into our sales, partnerships & premium seating teams.Support on maintenance of revenue management platform (Neptune CRM) – working with local sales teams+ finance colleagues reconcile where necessary (finance background not required)Support on development and maintenance of AEGs proprietary sponsorship & premium benchmarking + valuation toolsWork with in-house data science & analytics teams to develop new partnerships data reporting solutions across venue and festival portfolio (e.g. benefit redemption, ticket sales data sets)
We’re looking for someone who:
Has experience of working within a market research agency or in an analytical role within a media agency – ideally (not essential) within a media & entertainment / sport / sponsorship environmentHas experience in / or a willingness to learn about sponsorship & premium seating valuation modellingIs commercially minded with strong analytics skillsIs Data Savvy, we’re looking for someone who loves getting stuck into data sets, with good Excel skills (any other data wrangling skills would be a bonus!)Has a commitment to delivering the best and wowing customersCan demonstrate a good understanding of the entertainment, sponsorship and events industry and future trendsHas a keen attention to detail and accuracy in numbers
