The quirky music video for V’s ‘Fri(end)s’ follows the BTS singer in two alternate universes: one where he’s alone but is always surrounded by happy couple, another where he’s in a loving relationship but everyone else always seems unhappy.
“Friends, just for now / Yeah, but friends don’t say words that / Make friends feel like more than just / Friends, just for now / Now, I’m over pretending / So let’s put the “end” in friends,” V sings on the chorus of his new single.
‘Fri(end)s’ marks the BTS singer’s first music release since he enlisted into the South Korean military for mandatory two years of service in December 2023. His last release was his debut solo mini-album ‘Layover’ in September last year.
