This isn’t the first time Eilish has publicly shared her love for Ocean. Before she and her brother Finneas hit it big, the pair shared an acoustic piano cover of ‘Thinkin Bout You’ onto YouTube.

Since the release of ‘Blonde’, Frank Ocean has shared just a handful of singles including ‘DHL’ and ‘In My Room’. Ocean also shared previously unreleased music to soundtrack his radio show celebrating the ten-year anniversary of 2012’s Channel Orange’ back in July and also dropped ‘Cayendo’ and ‘Dear April’ on streaming services in 2023, with the tracks previously being vinyl exclusives.

In April last year, he headlined one weekend of Coachella to polarising effect. It was his first live gig since 2017.

Eilish however, has been keeping busy, and released her latest album ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ in May. In a four-star review of the album for NME, Thomas Smith wrote: “‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ remains distinctly unique, a portrait of a singular talent entering young adulthood, exploring her queerness and experiencing the emotional thrill and (sometimes) catastrophe of chasing passion or falling in love. In trying to write an album for herself, she’s made one that will resonate harder than anything she’s done before.”

Her ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft’ world tour is scheduled to begin this autumn. The UK and Ireland leg will take place in July 2025, and includes six nights at The O2 in London. Find any remaining tickets here (UK/Ireland) and here (North America).
