Idris Elba has said that he’s got his eye on a collaboration with Doja Cat.

The actor, who also raps and DJs, told The Sun’s Bizarre column that the US rapper is among his dream artists to work with.
He said: “I’d really like to work with Doja Cat, she’s amazing. I’d also like to work with Black Coffee, he’s amazing. Mark Ronson, too.”
Elba has also recently been working with Grey Goose, saying in a new short film for the vodka brand: “Everyone speaks different languages, are different ages, but as soon as you play music, it’s just one frequency.”
He entertained guests at the official Grey Goose Altius launch party at a private villa in Ibiza in May, saying: “I throw everything into my music, refining it and fine tuning it, until it hits right. That’s the same vibe I get with Grey Goose Altius.
He continued: “The dedication, the attention to detail —it’s about the craft in every drop, which is exactly what you want, when you’re celebrating something real.”
To mark the launch of Grey Goose Altius, inspired the the French Alps, Elba shared a new song, ‘Pushing On’, last month. The track features the American house singer Kathy Brown.
Meanwhile, the Luther actor played a set at Glastonbury last month. He played The Park’s Stonebridge Bar on the Saturday night (June 29) and then made an appearance on the West Holts Stage on Sunday (June 30) with Don’t Stop Your Future, a UK youth violence and knife crime campaign he fronts.
