Sabrina Carpenter’s summer isn’t coming to an end just yet.

Based on midweek U.K. sales and streaming data captured by the Official Charts Company, Carpenter’s hit “Please Please Please” (via Island) should return to the summit for a seventh-non-consecutive week.

“Please Please Please” is the followup to “Espresso,” which has reigned over the national singles chart for 14 weeks, and is predicted to tumble 1-9.

Carpenter last Friday, July 19 entered the record books (again) by locking-up joint-leadership as the artist to spend the most consecutive weeks occupying both the top 2 chart positions concurrently, a record she holds with Ed Sheeran at five weeks.

If the midweek chart is a good indication, Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather” (Interscope) and Chappell Roan’s rising hit “Good Luck Babe” (Island) will complete the podium.

The top new debut should belong to Little Mix’s Jade, with her first solo single “Angel Of My Dreams” (RCA). It’s new at No. 5 on the chart blast.

As it stands, the Little Mix bandmate with the top-charting solo effort is Jesy Nelson, whose “Boyz” featuring Nicki Minaj debuted and peaked at No. 4. “Angel” will need to spread its chart wings in the second half of the week if Jade is to claim that title.

Also eyeing a top 10 debut is BTS’ JIMIN, with “Who” (Big Hit Entertainment). It’s new at No. 8 on the chart blast, and should benefit from the K-pop star’s performance of the song Monday night (July 22) on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

All will be revealed when the Official U.K. Charts are published Friday, July 26.
