Domino Music Group are hiring a full time Business Affairs Executive to support and report into the Director of Commercial and Business Affairs. We’re looking for someone with the enthusiasm, passion and a can-do attitude. 

Candidates must have a legal background, be comfortable working on a wide variety of music-related agreements and have experience in drafting and closing recording and publishing agreements. 

This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic and collaborative team. The Business Affairs Executive will work in a team including the Director, Business Affairs Associate and Business Affairs Assistant.

Responsibilities

The position of Business Affairs Executive includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Draft, review, negotiate and manage a large volume of a variety of agreements for example; recording agreements, music publishing agreements, producer agreements, side artist agreements, sample license agreements, video production agreements, label waivers, independent contractor agreements, and non-disclosure agreementsEffectively manage relationships with artists, artist management teams and attorneys on a worldwide basisAdvise senior executives, A&R, finance, licensing, product management and marketing teams regarding contractual obligations and restrictionsCounsel internal departments and senior management on day-to-day business and legal issues and strategiesBalance, prioritise and coordinate a high volume of diverse and time-sensitive projects in a fast-paced environment

Minimum qualifications

Qualified to practice as a Solicitor in the UK or equivalent by experienceMinimum 5 years of legal experience ideally in a record label, publishing company or related law practiceExcellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills required
