New Order, Beach House, Weezer and Justice will headline the sixth Kilby Block Party festival, which will be staged May 15-18 at the Utah State Fairpark in Salt Lake City. Organizers are expanding their footprint at the venue to allow for less sound bleed between stages and a variety of upgraded amenities. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Dec. 4).
Weezer will be performing The Blue Album and Voyage to the Blue Planet in their entirety at Kilby Block Party, the opening day of which will feature New Order, Devo, Future Islands and Yo La Tengo. The second day is led by Beach House, a mystery headliner, Slowdive, Julian Baker and Torres and Built to Spill.
