Jack White is offering affordable $20 tickets to students on his ongoing US ‘No Name’ tour.

The former White Stripes frontman released his sixth solo album ‘No Name’ last August and is currently in the middle of a North American tour to support the record, with the guitarist set to play the first of two Brooklyn shows tonight (February 11).

White said that a limited run of $20 tickets for students will be available for purchase in person only at each venue’s box office and would require a valid student ID.

Writing about the tickets, White said in an Instagram post: “For every stop on the No Name Tour, a limited number of student tickets will be available to purchase in-person only at each venue’s box office on show day. These tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis with a valid student ID (1 ticket per student ID).”

The tour is set to make stops across North America, including in cities such as Kansas City, Detroit, Chicago, Oakland, Dallas and Seattle. White’s recent setlists have tended to run between 20 and 25 songs in length, incorporating songs from across his career, including The White Stripes and The Raconteurs.

In December White announced a UK and European tour for 2025, with tickets available here. The musician will be making stops in London, Birmingham, Paris, Glasgow and more. NME caught his show at London’s Assembly Hall last September, which saw him touch on similar themes. “This is the kind of rock’n’roll you’re not gonna get at Wembley Stadium for £400!” he exclaimed at one stage.

‘No Name’ scored a four-star review from NME‘s upon its release in August, with Andrew Trendell writing: “This is an ode to the mystique of rock’n’roll and to the joy of music at its most physical and playful. Teasing doesn’t always lead to satisfaction. Just cut to the chase – and this one’s a bone-rattling ride. White’s revelling in the real world and has made it a much more thrilling place.”

Elsewhere, The White Stripes recently announced a 20th anniversary reissue for their fifth album ‘Get Behind Me Satan’. It will feature songwriting demos, alternate studio takes and live versions – you can purchase yours here.
