Kanye West has made a return to X/Twitter after a series of offensive updates he shared on the platform.
Last week, the rapper posted a series of tweets in support of Diddy and Chris Brown and urged for the former to be released from prison amid sexual abuse allegations.
He then took things further, going on a tweeting spree that would see him claim “dominion” over his wife Bianca Censori following her nude appearance at the Grammys, and withdraw his apology to the Jewish community for past anti-Semitic comments.
Ye then went on to declare himself as “a Nazi” and write: “I love Hitler”, as well as praise billionaire and X owner Elon Musk as “the most lit person that [has] ever been on Twitter”, following the latter’s accusations of Nazism at Donald Trump’s presidential inauguration.
Further posts saw him mock other marginalised communities, claim that “slavery is a choice” and more. He then wiped his website and began selling only a white T-shirt with a large swastika on the chest, listed as “HH-01” – possibly a reference to the “Heil Hitler” chant.
The spree saw his X account taken down and deactivated, and Shopify then went on to shut down West’s Yeezy website. It was later confirmed that the rapper had been dropped by his talent agency, and his former Chief Of Staff had quit the Yeezy company.

Now, just three days after the account was removed, it seems that West’s page is live again on X – although all of his past updates have been taken down.
According to The Mirror, when the page first became live again it contained just one post, which was in the replies section and read: “SINCE IM GETTING KICKED OFF TWITTER SOON EVERYBODY IS A NAZI TILL A REAL NAZI PULLS UP.”
It isn’t clear whether the rapper deleted the posts himself or whether they were removed by X. A warning message also shows up for those trying to click on Ye’s page.
“Caution: This profile may include potentially sensitive content. You’re seeing this warning because they post potentially sensitive images or language. Do you still want to view it?” it reads, with users having to agree before they can see the rapper’s tweets.
Before his account was taken down, Ye wrapped up his series of offensive tweets by saying that he would be taking some time away from the app, and that he was grateful for Musk keeping the page live.
“I’m logging out of Twitter. I appreciate Elon for allowing me to vent. It has been very cathartic to use the world as a sounding board,” he wrote. “It was like an Ayahuasca trip. Love all of you who gave me your energy and attention. [Until] we connect again. Good afternoon and goodnight.”

As well as his X page becoming active again, this morning also saw Shopify state that the artist’s website was taken down due to the potential for fraud – not because it was selling a Swastika T-shirt.
In the time since the rant on social media, Ye’s ‘Vultures’ collaborator Ty Dolla $ign has condemned hate speech, Charlie Puth begged West to stop promoting “incredibly dangerous” messages, and Friends star David Schwimmer called for action to be taken against the rapper for his hate-filled “Nazi” posts, arguing that “silence is complicity”.
Elsewhere, Ye has been sued for discrimination by a former Yeezy employee, and accused of texting “Hail Hitler” to a Jewish staff member.
