Diana Ross has been a working musician since the ‘60s when she was the lead singer of the Supremes, and it’s not looking like she’s going to slow down anytime soon.
The 80-year-old songstress – who turns 81 on March 26 – performed two sold-out nights at the King Theater in Brooklyn, New York. Ross reportedly told a crowd of adoring fans, “I’ll never retire,” during her second performance, which took place on Saturday, March 1, according to an article by the New York Post.

The “Queen of Motown Records’” performances in the Big Apple are part of a six-date tour referred to as the Diana Ross: Celebrating Timeless Classics – 2025 Tour. The singer kicked off the tour with a performance at the Yaamava Theater in Highland, California, on February 14. Ross visited Brooklyn after her show in California and is set to perform three shows in Florida (Clearwater, St. Augustine, and Hollywood).
The notion that the “Endless Love” songwriter is nowhere near finished with performing is reinforced by the confirmation of a European tour earlier this year. According to the singer’s website, she is planning to embark on a ten-night string of shows across the United Kingdom, France, and the Netherlands.
