“He got me two rings, and one of them was the blade of grass, and that’s the first one he proposed with,” the 38-year-old songstress told listeners during the show. She went on to note that she “loves them both,” before she added, “But the blade of grass, you can’t replace something that has a meaning like that.”
Gaga previously spoke about her engagement during an interview with E! News that was published on Friday, March 7, where she told the story of how it all went down.
“He said to me, ‘If I ever proposed to you, how do I do that?’” Gaga recounted before she continued, “And I said, ‘Just get a blade of grass from the backyard and wrap it around my finger.’ And he did. He did that when he proposed.”
The “Abracadabra” singer had a blade of grass set in resin after Polansky, 41, originally proposed with it, and she wears it along with the ring her fiancé splurged on later. The two have not set a date for the wedding yet.
