Will Smith and Doechii have teamed up to recreate the viral ‘Anxiety’ dance, which features choreography from Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air.

Doechii first shared ‘Anxiety’, which is built around a sample of Gotye‘s 2012 hit ‘Somebody That I Used To Know‘, on YouTube in 2019. Recently, the song went viral, and the rapper officially released it last week.

Part of its online success has come from a TikTok dance, which has seen users copy choreography featured in the popular 90s TV show, in a scene between Smith and co-star Tatyana Ali.

Earlier this month, Smith shared the original clip alongside Doechii’s song, and now he’s teamed up with Ali and Doechii to create a new version. In the clip, Smith can be seen copying Ali’s dance moves, before Doechii appears to join the party. “Waited 35 years for this dance to trend,” joked Smith in the caption. Check it out below.

Doechii was recently named as one of the performers for Glastonbury 2025, headlining the West Holts Stage on Saturday night in a much-publicised clash with Charli XCX, who will top the Other Stage at the same time.

She will be playing a number of other festivals this summer too, including Rock En Seine in Paris in AugustForwards Festival in Bristol in the same month and Roskilde in Denmark in June.

She also won the Best Rap Album prize at the Grammys earlier this year, becoming only the third female winner, after Hill herself and Cardi B. To celebrate the win, she released ‘Nosebleeds’, in which she raps about showing up her naysayers.

Doechii’s ‘Nissan Altima’ was listed as one of NME‘s 50 Best Songs of 2024. In a four-star review of ‘Aligator Bites Never Heal‘, NME shared: “Doechii gets into the nitty gritty on this release, but – by the end – she finds solace and strength, making the mixtape feel more like a sonic diary of her emotional journey.”
