AEG Presents is one of the world’s leading companies in live entertainment, promoting memorable sell-out UK tours for the world’s biggest artists along with some amazing festivals and outdoor events including American Express Presents British Summer Time Hyde Park, and all Points East.

Their Finance team are looking for a Management Accountant – Touring who will be responsible for:
• Month end accounting for AEG Presents Touring business units
• Preparing artist payments across touring & festivals
• Working with the touring team to finalise & send out settlement payments
• Reconciling revenue & costs for all tours
• Balance sheet reconciliations for AEG Presents

You’ll defer & recognise income & costs for tours; reconcile ticket, rebate & all other revenue for touring; and reconcile costs for all tours monthly.

You’ll update & reconcile the touring T1 report each month, raising or releasing accruals as necessary; run the show report & reclass any mis-postings; and liaise with legal & prepare artist payments for review as per contract.

Working with touring you’ll prepare payments for settlements to artists post event; settle with UK co-promoters, request co-pro settlements & invoices for processing; and liaise with the events team to ensure timely and accurate production budget monitoring.

We’re looking for a part-qualified accountant ideally from industry, first time passes preferable.

You’ll have excellent core accounting skills and have strong IT skills especially in Excel.

With previous experience & demonstrable confidence within accounts preparation & financial accounting; you’ll be a proactive performer that demonstrates commitment to the role & desire to achieve.

You’ll be confident communicating with senior management level and be able to build good working relationships across different departments.

Where: You’ll be based at our vibrant and relaxed head office in Blackfriars, a short walk from Southwark tube station. We offer flexible start and finish times and welcome flexible working conversations.
Salary: £40,000-45,000 a year plus benefits
