Role: Hawkr Artist Recruitment Manager 
Type: Full-Time 
Location: Flexible with remote working – London preferable. May require travel to gigs
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

What we are looking for: 
Hawkr is expanding rapidly and searching for an Artist & Festival Recruitment Manager to lead on  artist recruitment, managing campaigns and onboarding. This role requires someone who can work  pro-actively to recruit new artists to the platform from all genres and levels.  

The role will involve contacting and liaising with artists, festivals, management and labels to highlight  the benefits of Hawkr with the aim of driving new signing-ups. 

You will get to know the Hawkr platform inside out, so you can sell the benefits to artists and their  teams. You will be responsible for guiding new sign-ups through the onboarding process as well as  monitoring monthly numbers of merch stands, stores and products on sale, to ensure new sign-ups  convert to merch sales.  

You will be working to achieve monthly targets and will be responsible for reporting and monitoring  these in line with business objectives. 

The ideal candidate 
You will need to be a self-starter, confident, with a great network and appetite to work within an exciting, fast paced start-up environment.  

Being in touch and well connected within current music scenes is essential, as is being a great communicator who can help stay in touch with multiple stakeholders at different levels. 

You’ll be dynamic and proactively involved in defining and achieving targets, whilst helping to grow the company. You will leverage your own network as well as confidently approach new artists, festivals and their teams and monitoring current tours and gigs proactively targeting these. 

Key Responsibilities 
• Working with and reporting into Hawkr’s Chief Executive Officer 
• Proactively creating and chasing up new artist and festival leads 
• Successfully onboarding artists to the platform in line with targets 
• Building a strategy across different artists genres, festivals and events 
• Reporting into weekly meetings to track and hit onboarding and sales volume targets
• Proactively assisting new artist with account set up and troubleshooting 
• Continuing to assist artists throughout the whole Hawkr process of virtual merch stand set up and selling at each of their gigs 
• Advising artists on best practice, how to best use Hawkr to drive sales 
• Being the point of contact for artist questions 
• Attending internal and external meetings the Hawkr team, artists, managers & promoters
• Building a database of contacts, festivals and artists 
• Creating an artist newsletter and working with social teams to build content about new partnerships and artists 
• Being a brand champion and ambassador for Hawkr and all its positive attributes
• Being proactively involved and invested in growing and developing the company

Essential Attributes 
• In touch and connected within current music scenes 
• Excellent communicator and methodical worker 
• Digital native who enjoys using computers and apps, can build a good powerpoint deck, manage excel spreadsheets etc 
• Good understanding of social media platforms 
• Target driven with the aim of growing the company 
• An understanding of how the music industry and merchandising works 
• Confident speaking with senior stakeholders as well as young new artists
• Ability to manage a dynamic and varied workload 
• Experienced in stakeholder management 
• A desire to be part of growing a new company 
• Experienced and confident with a combination of calendar management, Office 365, Google Docs and video calls 

Nice to have skills 
• Understanding of digital artwork and use of Adobe Photoshop 
• Social media and marketing experience
